In this talk Athar explains that an effective fraud risk management framework will enable organizations to have controls that first prevent the fraud from occurring, detect as soon as a fraud happens and respond effectively to fraud incidents when they occur.
About the speaker:
Athar has over 14 years of diversified experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management governance, Fraud management & Corporate Governance. He has worked in various sectors with large Multi-national organizations in the GCC, Africa and Pakistan to develop and implement Internal Audits departments, ERM & Anti-Fraud frameworks. He has conducted several training sessions and spoken on various ongoing issues of Internal Audit and Fraud Risk Management.
